Theme: Achieving Hand Hygiene At The Point Of Care

The SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands Global Campaign was launched in 2009 and has been celebrated annually on the 5th of May with the aim to maintain global promotion, visibility and sustainability of Hand Hygiene.
Washing hands is one of the most important things to do to help prevent and control the spread of many illnesses, especially now with the pandemic we are currently facing of Corona virus.

When to wash hands
°when they are visibly dirty
°before and after preparing food
°Before eating
°After using the toilet
°After changing a diaper
°°After helping a child use the potty or toilet
°Before inserting of removing contact lenses
°Before and after touching the face
°Before and after treating wounds
°After coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose
