So for Protein shakes they work for everyone
Whether you want to gain weight(muscle)- take it post workout or anytime to increase your calories for the day and good thing is you are increasing calories with some protein. For you to gain weight you generally need to be on a caloric surplus above 1500 calories( depends with goals)
but not just any calories you need to take note of your macros ( carbs, healthy fats, *protein*! )
For the protein powder again depends with you I'd recommend the Herbalife pro 20 ( available for purchase dm me)
Or lose weight ( fat)
For you to lose weight you need to be on a caloric deficit
That is eating less than 1200 Calories per day and taking note of your macros and since protein is the most essential you can take protein Smoothies as a meal replacement for the recommended protein powder I'd recommend (Herbalife Shake mix and the Protein Mix Drink available dm) you'll actually feel full and energized for your workout.
