Police Detain Man Posing as Woman

Residents of Chipata thronged Central Police Station to catch a glimpse of a man who was detained for posing as a woman.
Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer ROBERTSON MWEEMBA says the suspect, FRED TEMBO, aged 22, was picked up by police in the early hours of Wednesday after disguising himself as a woman.
Mr. MWEEMBA says the suspect was using the name RITA JERE.
He says police will subject the suspect to a medical examination.
