Do you know that Resorption atelectasis occur following complete airway obstruction and resorption of oxygen in the depended alveoli. Causes may include;profuse secretion,foreign body aspiration and bronchiole neoplasms.Therefore, this condition can result in shifting of the mediastinum toward the atelectatic lung.
