Today, we celebrate a powerful milestone ✨

Help us congratulate the 2024 and 2025 Public Health Nursing (PHN) intakes who were officially caped today, marking their transition into the noble journey of nursing service 🤍🩺

The capping was gracefully conducted by Mrs. Mwale, accompanied by the Circle of Care a distinguished group of mentors and nursing leaders who stand as symbols of guidance, discipline, and professional excellence.

This moment is more than a ceremony; it is a commitment to compassion, responsibility, and service to humanity.
Congratulations to our PHN intakes the future of public health is in capable hands 🌍💪

Today, LOVENESS BANDA was laid to rest 💔🥲 in her hometown of KITWE.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.

May we continue to keep her family and loved ones in our prayers, asking that God grants them strength and comfort during this difficult time. This is a loss that is not easy to come to terms with, and our hearts remain with them.

Good morning everyone😭😭

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loveness Banda (Registered Nurse – July 2025), a student of Solwezi College of Nursing and Midwifery.

Loveness sadly passed away today at Kitwe Central Hospital. Her untimely departure has deeply affected the entire college community and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

During this time of grief, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, classmates, and loved ones. And would like to let them know that we stand with them in prayer and solidarity as they navigate this painful loss and we pray that may God almighty comfort them during this hard and trying time.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Solwezi College of Nursing has noted with serious concern fraudulent messages being sent to selected candidates for the 2026 intakes in Registered Nursing, Registered Midwifery, and Registered Public Health Nursing. These messages falsely claim that admission has been cancelled due to non-payment of tuition fees and provide unauthorized contact details.
Please be advised that this is a government institution. No school fees are paid before reporting. All official fees are paid on the day of reporting and only through approved government procedures.
Candidates are strongly warned not to send money or respond to such messages. Any communication demanding payment before reporting is a scam. Always rely on official college notices and channels only.
