OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Solwezi School of Nursing and Midwifery joins the nation in mourning.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former Republican President, Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu. His service to the nation and commitment to the welfare of the Zambian people will always be remembered.

As a training institution for future healthcare providers, we recognize and appreciate his contributions to the health and education sectors. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, and the entire nation during this time of grief.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Iā€™m deeply honoured and humbled to be elected as the School Union President.
This is not just a position, itā€™s a responsibility to serve, unite, and represent every student in our institution.

Let me be clear: I am not the president for RN, PHN, or RM. I am the president of the entire school.Because when I look at you, I donā€™t see programs, I see students.And I firmly believe that my vision cannot become a reality without the involvement of each one of you.

Life is about phases.We were in the phase of elections and campaigns, but now itā€™s time to move forward.Anything to do with elections is now water under the bridge.
