🌱🥭 Why Size Matters in Our Dwarf Papaya Variety

Many farmers ask: “Should I wait for my papaya to grow taller in the nursery pot before transplanting?” 🚫 The answer is NO!

✅ Our Dwarf Papaya variety is specially bred to start fruiting below 50cm from the ground.

✅ If you delay by keeping it in the nursery pot too long, the stem keeps stretching upwards instead of increasing in diameter (thickness).

✅ A thin, tall plant struggles to support fruits, leading to bending or breakage.

👉 What you want is a strong stem diameter that can carry early fruit clusters.

Before a papaya variety is released and sold as seedlings, it must meet strict thresholds to ensure farmers get value:
✅ High Yield Potential – consistently produces good fruit per plant.

✅ Fruit Quality – sweet taste, attractive color, good size & shape.
✅ Adaptability – performs well under local soils & climate.

✅ Tolerance/Resistance – withstands common pests & diseases.
