Detailed Roles & Qualifications
1. Medical Doctor (Part-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical oversight, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment for patients.
Supervise, mentor, and guide the clinical team to ensure best practices in patient care.
Support the development of treatment protocols and clinical guidelines.
Lead case reviews and promote continuous medical education within the facility.
Offer specialist support for complicated cases and referrals.
Qualifications:
MBChB degree with valid HPCZ practicing license.
Minimum of 2 years post-internship clinical experience (rural/community exposure an asset).
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Clinical Officer (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services, including diagnosis and treatment of common conditions.
Conduct outpatient consultations, manage emergencies, and assist with in-patient care.
Collaborate with the medical doctor in patient management and referrals.
Support preventive health programs and community outreach initiatives.
Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Clinical Medicine with valid HPCZ practicing license.
At least 2 years of clinical experience.
Fluency in Bemba and English (written & spoken).
Strong patient-centered approach and ability to work in a team.
3. Registered Midwife (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide antenatal, intrapartum (delivery), and postnatal care.
Conduct safe deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies.
Educate mothers and families on reproductive, maternal, and child health.
Support family planning and health promotion programs.
Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure safe and respectful maternity care.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Midwifery with valid GNCZ practicing license.
Minimum 2 years’ midwifery experience (rural/community experience preferred).
Compassionate, patient-focused, and resilient in challenging situations.
4. Laboratory Technologist (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic laboratory tests (hematology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.) accurately and timely.
Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and handling.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality assurance systems are in place.
Support the medical team with accurate reporting of results for clinical decisions.
Implement infection prevention and biosafety protocols.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Biomedical Sciences with valid HPCZ practicing license.
Minimum 2 years’ laboratory experience.
Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and infection prevention.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front desk operations, including reception, patient registration, and records management.
Handle correspondence, filing systems, and communication with stakeholders.
Coordinate logistics, meetings, and scheduling.
Support human resource and finance administration tasks.
Ensure smooth daily operations of the facility.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Business/Public Administration or related field.
Strong computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
6. Cleaner (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in all facility areas.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Support waste management, including segregation and disposal.
Assist staff in maintaining a patient-friendly environment.
Report repair or maintenance issues as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 9 education.
Prior cleaning or hospital experience preferred.
Reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail.
7. Security Guard (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
Safeguard the facility, staff, patients, and property at all times.
Monitor entry and exit points, ensuring authorized access only.
Patrol premises regularly to prevent theft or unauthorized activity.
Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
Maintain incident logs and security records.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 9 education.
Prior security or military/police experience preferred.
Physically fit, alert, and disciplined.
Strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
