APRIL is Autism awareness month.
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts with others, and experiences the world. It’s called a "spectrum" because it varies widely from person to person — some people may need significant support in daily life, while others live very independently.

Common signs include:
Challenges with social interaction
- Like making eye contact or understanding social cues
- Repetitive behaviors or routines

- Intense focus on specific interests

- Sensory sensitivities - to lights, sounds, textures, etc.
Please note:
Autism isn’t something to "cure" — it's a different way of thinking and being. Many people on the spectrum see it as an important part of who they are.

National Colore**al Cancer Awareness Month March 2025

>>What is Colere**al cancer?

Colore**al cancer is a type of cancer that affects the colon (large intestine) or re**um. It is one of the most common types of cancer worldwide. It can cause severe harm and death.
The risk of colore**al cancer increases with age. Most cases affect people over 50 years old.
Common symptoms include diarrhoea, constipation, blood in the stool, abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, and low iron levels.
Many people will not have symptoms in the early stages of the disease.

>>Two reasons why getting checked matters:
Screening can find the warning signs of colon and re**al cancer, letting doctors take action to prevent the disease. Screening can also find colore**al cancer early when treatment is most effective.
