Pedals for a Purpose: Supporting Our Mothers and Babies! 🚲👶

We are thrilled to announce a special collaboration to kick off the month of May! The newly formed Brecore Cycling Club is hosting its official launch on May 1st, 2026, and they are dedicating their very first ride to the mothers and infants of our community.

This inaugural ride, beyond being a cycling event, is a mission to support Gutu Mission Hospital’s Maternal and Child Health initiatives. Every kilometer pedaled helps us continue providing essential care, ensuring a healthy start for every baby and a safe journey for every mother in Gutu.

How You Can Get Involved:
> Ride With Us: Whether you are a seasoned pro or a casual rider, join the Brecore Cycling Club on this historic first trip.
> Spread the Word: Share this post to help us reach more neighbors and supporters.
> Cheer Them On: Come out and show your support as the riders pass through!

Detailed information regarding the route, start times, and how you can contribute to the cause can be found on the accompanying flyer.

Let’s come together to welcome Brecore Cycling Club to the community and make a lasting impact on the lives of our littlest residents.

Together, we ride for health. Together, we ride for Gutu.

Celebrating the gift of life and the spirit of renewal this season! 🌿✨

A Season of Gratitude
As the month of March comes to a close, our hearts are full at Gutu Mission Hospital. We pause to celebrate the dedicated hands and compassionate hearts of our staff members born in this month.

To our March celebrants: You are more than just professionals; you are the heartbeat of our wards and the light in our corridors. Your commitment to healing and your presence in the lives of our patients is a gift we do not take for granted. May your new year be filled with the same kindness you share with every person who walks through our doors.

The Promise of Easter
As a mission-driven family, this celebration feels even more profound as we are in the Easter season. Easter is a powerful reminder of hope, sacrifice, and the ultimate triumph of life. It mirrors the work we strive to do every day—bringing restoration to the weary and hope to the hurting.

May the message of the Resurrection bring peace to your homes and a renewed sense of purpose to our community. Whether you are spending this time in prayer, with family, or here serving our patients, may you feel the grace that this season represents.

Happy Birthday to our March Stars and a Blessed Easter to you all! 🕊️🏥

Yes! We Can End TB! 🇿🇼

Today, March 24th, Gutu Mission Hospital joins the rest of the world in observing World Tuberculosis Day.

Tuberculosis remains one of the world’s deadliest infectious killers, but here in our Gutu community, we see the power of hope and healing every day.

This year’s theme is a bold call to action:
📢 "Yes! We Can End TB! Led by Countries, Powered by People."

At Gutu Mission, we believe that "powering by people" starts right here—with our dedicated nurses, our vigilant village health workers, and most importantly, with YOU. Whether you are a survivor, a caregiver, or a neighbor, your voice and your health matter.

Our Commitment to Gutu:
> Early Detection: Visit our OI Clinic for screening if you have a persistent cough or night sweats.
> Supportive Care: We are here to provide the treatment and counseling needed to see you through to a full recovery.
> Community Strength: No one should face TB alone. Let’s end the stigma and replace it with support.

To our patients currently on treatment: stay strong. To our survivors: thank you for being a living testament that TB is curable.

Together, as a community powered by faith and resilience, we can make a TB-free Gutu a reality.

We Treat, God Heals. 🙏✨

🌍✨ Tuesday Morning Chaplaincy at GMH ✨🌍
Tuesday mornings are special as we gather for Chaplaincy services dedicated to the wellbeing of our hospital family. Today’s service beautifully coincided with the global observance of World Hearing Day, celebrated under the theme “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children.” 🌱👂📚

At Gutu Mission Hospital, we cherish every moment we have to hear and reflect on God’s Word — the voice that nourishes our spirits and brings life to our souls. 🙏💛

🧏‍♂️ On this World Hearing Day, we pray that: • your ears be blessed with good physical hearing,
• your heart and spirit be open to hear God’s voice,
• and your life be filled with understanding, joy, and peace as you listen with compassion and purpose. 🌟

May we all hear well—with our bodies and with our souls! 💫

Celebrating Life and Service: Our January Stars ✨

At Gutu Mission Hospital, we believe that the hands that heal deserve to be held in celebration. 🏥❤️

This past Tuesday, amidst the soulful hymns and peaceful reflections of our weekly Chaplain’s Service, we took a moment to pause. We didn't just celebrate the passage of time; we celebrated the lives of our incredible staff members born in January.

Working in healthcare is a calling that demands every ounce of one's heart. It means being the light in someone’s darkest hour and the strength for those who have none left. By honoring our birthday stars, we remind ourselves that before they are nurses, doctors, or support staff, they are cherished individuals—our family.

"To the world, you may just be a healthcare worker, but to our patients and to this hospital, you are a hero."

To our January celebrants: Thank you for your stellar work, your sleepless nights, and your unwavering dedication. May this new year of life bring you the same healing and joy you give to others every single day. 🎈🎂

🤝 A Heartfelt Thank You to Taps Auto
As we strive to make our hospital a sanctuary of healing, we are deeply moved by the support of our partners. A special "Thank You" goes to Taps Auto for their generous donation of Road Signage and Litter Bins.

Because of your kindness, our community can find their way to us more easily, and our hospital grounds remain a clean, dignified environment for our patients. Partnerships like these remind us that we are never walking this path alone.

🏥 Big Changes & Deep Gratitude at Gutu Mission Hospital! ✨

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news! Our hospital grounds are looking better than ever, thanks to a very generous donation from our friends at Taps Auto.

We have officially received 10 new bins to help keep our environment clean and a stunning new roadside billboard to ensure our community can find us easily when they need us most.

In the video below, our Station Superintendent, Rev T. Mugoni, expresses our sincere thanks to Taps Auto for their support. As Rev Mugoni mentions, these improvements go a long way in helping us provide a dignified and welcoming environment for our patients.

🤝 Will you partner with us? Gutu Mission Hospital continues to grow, and we are looking for more partners to join us in our mission to provide quality healthcare. Whether big or small, your partnership makes a difference!

Congratulations Gutu High School! 🌟

A Hearty Congratulations from the Gutu Mission Hospital Family!

Tirikufara! We are absolutely beaming with pride today as we celebrate the incredible academic achievements at Gutu High School.

Recording a staggering 98.1% pass rate for O-Level and a phenomenal 98% for A-Level is no small feat—it is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and "Gutu Spirit" that defines our entire Mission community.

To the Students:
Your late nights and dedication have paid off. You haven't just passed exams; you’ve opened doors to your futures. Whether you dream of being a doctor, a nurse, or a leader, you are well on your way!

To the Teaching Staff & Administration:
Success of this magnitude requires visionary leadership and tireless commitment. Thank you for nurturing the minds of our youth and maintaining such a high standard of excellence within the Gutu Mission.

One Mission, One Community
As part of the Gutu Mission—alongside our Primary School, Nursing School, and Church—we know that it takes a village to raise a success story. Seeing our high school flourish strengthens our entire community.

Well done, Gutu High! Keep shining and soaring to even greater heights! 🎓✨

MEDICAL ALERT: An Outbreak of "January Disease" in Gutu! 📉💸

While our doctors are experts at treating flu and malaria, we’ve noticed a different kind of "fever" hitting Gutu this week.

Symptoms include:
❌ A sudden allergy to looking at your bank balance.
❌ Extreme weight loss... of your wallet.
❌ Heart palpitations when you see the "Back to School" stationery list.

At Gutu Mission Hospital, we want to remind you that while your pockets might be thin, your spirit shouldn't be!

How to survive the "January Disease" (The Gutu Mission Prescription):

1️⃣ Use the Best "Free" Medicine: Did you know that laughter is actually good for your immune system? Even when things are tough, find a reason to smile with your family.
"A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." — Proverbs 17:22 📖✨
Thinking about the bill might dry your bones, but a good laugh with your neighbor is a healing balm!

2️⃣ Don't "Self-Medicate" with Stress: Stressing won't add a single cent to your pocket. Take a deep breath. You survived last year, and you will survive this one too.
"Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" — Matthew 6:27

3️⃣ Healthy Eating on a Budget: You don't need fancy imported food. Our local muboora, munyovi and sadza rezviyo are not only affordable but are much healthier for your body than expensive processed foods! 🥬

4️⃣ Prioritize Real Health: Money may be tight, but don't skip your essential check-ups or medication. It is cheaper to stay healthy than to treat an emergency later.

Doctor’s Orders: Keep a "merry heart," stay positive in the fields, and remember—February is just around the corner!

Tag a friend who needs a "dose" of laughter today! 👇
