2025, what an incredible year it had been! We had a boom in Petting Zoo requests, we started our Junior Farmers' Club and we started collecting our mini's 😍 where we got dexter cows, dwarf jersey woolie rabbits, frizzle bantam chickens and shorty worty Mukota pigs! We introduced ice cream making for the summer months too!
Of course there were some very low times- when our beloved Dinky Donkey galloped over the rainbow bridge and our sweet Billy buckling goat had a tragic accident 😭, as well as some calving complications with some Guernsey dams and destructive veld fires. But would we have hope for the future if we didn't go through some "refining" times? Would we be as grateful if we didn't understand that not everything is a bed of roses? Farming is full of risks and taking them builds character, resilience and a deep appreciation for what we have been blessed with, no matter the outcome.

To 2026, new beginnings, endless opportunities and the privilege of being able to share this farm life with you 🥰

🌤🌳 It was a perfect day for our second Junior Farmers' Club. The rain held off so we could complete all our farm tasks, from milking the cows, to planting vegetable seeds, feeding the many farm animals, cleaning enclosures and washing the tractor. The children couldn't believe what fun work could actually be 😁 👨🏽‍🌾👨🏾‍🌾👩🏼‍🌾

👨🏼‍🌾👩🏿‍🌾👩🏽‍🌾👨🏾‍🌾JUNIOR FARMERS CLUB IS BACK! 👨🏼‍🌾👩🏿‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾👨🏾‍🌾

📆 On Saturday 6th December 2025 9am to 3:30pm we will be hosting our second Junior Farmers Day for kids aged between 4 and 12.

🐄 A day where kids get to BE the farmer not just hear about what farmers do 🥳 From milking the cow to planting vegetables to mucking out animal enclosures this is guaranteed to instil a deep understanding in their growing minds of what farming entails🥳 They will be fed nutritious food and looked after by our wonderful guides. In the event of rain we have some backup indoor activities in our Mush~Room 🍄

💵 Cost:
New junior farmers $30
Registered junior farmers $25
Sibling discount $5 off
[Must be paid in full by 3rd December]

🚙 Parents can drop off and collect later or are welcome to stay on at a fee of $10 (includes lunch). There will also be snacks and drinks on sale.

🐷🐗 This little piggy went to market, this little piggy ate roast beef and these three piggies went "wee, wee, wee" all the way to MooLand!

Meet Lilly, Rosy and Geoffrey our cute, indigenous mukota breed pigs. Did you know pigs are ranked as intelligent as dogs and can learn their names in a few days, do tricks and even sit like dogs? 😍 ideal breed for a small holding and practically fuss-free, these are the pigs Zimbabwe should be marketing 😄

Hey parents! We hear you, the tail end of the holidays can be hard to get through with kids saying "Mom I'm bored!", or "what can we dooooo?".
So we have planned a day packed with so much adventure and proper grind they won't have a chance to feel even an incy wincy bit bored, only problem is they will come home and tell you they want to live at MooLand forever 😂
MooLand's NEW Junior Farmer's Club is the first of its kind 🤩 this Saturday 30th August at 9am for ages 4 to 12. Parents are welcome to drop off and collect or stay on and even join in! (If staying entry fee is $5, food purchase additonal).
💵Advance payment is essential by 28th August and your child will be assigned a team colour, which they need to come wearing👕. We advise they wear older clothing, gum boots or closed shoes and hats/caps! 👒🧢
🧃Included is the breakfast, lunch and drinks. More details when you whatsapp.
Drinking water will be supplied throughout the day.
At the end they will receive a little something to take home 👨🏾‍🌾
