As I commemorate another year of life, I am reminded of the power of resilience, courage, and community. As I celebrate my birthday, I kindly request your assistance in disseminating the word that Crowborough is one of the fastest-growing communities and is in dire need of a Poly Clinic to cater to its elderly and young residents.

My appeal extends to requesting for one brick donation to construct a clinic in partnership with the city of Harare.

As a human rights and social justice activist, I have witnessed the darkest corners of society, but I have also observed the transformative impact of collective action. Today, I reaffirm my commitment to advocating for a world where everyone can live with dignity, equality, and justice. To my fellow activists, community leaders, and changemakers, let us continue to support one another, challenge systems of oppression, and build a brighter future for all. Here's to another year of advocacy, activism, and creating a more just world.

Let's unite for the construction of our clinic.

Welcome to the Crowborough Community Development Committee page! We talk about our community service delivery, issues affecting our community, as well as to share our plight as the community in the spirit of development and betterment of our society.

We have embarked on constructing a local clinic in our community led by residents and working together with the local authority which is the City of Harare. Currently our major aim is to raise funds towards the construction of a poly clinic.

For the past 27 years Crowborough residents have been struggling with health care facilities as we travel 8 kilometers to access the nearest clinic in the neighboring community.

Crowborough North community is an organic and growing suburbs in Harare which has about 7 thousand households both formal and informal houses and most of the informal houses are located in Crowborough farm which used to be for cattle rearing. In the prime of the farming era they used to water the farm with raw sewage and we believe as a community we are sitting on health time bombs due to the availability of inhabitants in the City of Harare farm, hence we are in dire need of a clinic to be constructed in our community. We are working with the City of Harare City health department to achieve this dream. We have obtained a standard clinic plan and BOQ from the city of the Harare department of works. Given what we have amassed we now call upon well-wishers to help in many ways including but not limited to ideas on how to fundraise towards this initiative, funds, donations and any other thing deemed necessary to effect the realization of this plight! In the spirit of Ubuntu and oneness, let's construct our community clinic together. This will go a long way in serving those in maternity, emergencies, outbreaks and ease the burden of ailments befalling any member of the community as they shall need not to travel longer distances to get assisted.
