Hemet Fire trained on confined space rescue today. This drill served multiple purposes: to maintain certification for our techs while sharpening rope and A-frame ladder skills for our non-techs.

Yesterday, crews performed high point aerial pick off rescue training. This operation allows firefighters to reach and secure a victim fast and safely, when traditional ladders or simple access won’t work.

Our apparatus guys are wrapping up the final inspection on the new fire engines you’ll see in service across Hemet in early 2026. Big thanks to Fire Management, City Council, City Leadership, and Measure U for supporting this upgrade.

This weekend, HFFA Local 2342 hosted our Girls Empowerment Camp — led by Engineer Sam Harper and supported by an incredible crew. Young women got to experience what it’s like to be a firefighter and see that this career is within reach if you put in the work.
