So rather than eating foods that contain butyrate, we’re going to explain what foods you need to eat to help your butyrate producing bacteria thrive.

If you want to increase the butyrate production of your gut microbes, you need dietary fibre (not butter). In this article, we’re going to recap what the gut microbiome is, what butyrate is, and the butyrate foods you need to eat to make more of it. Oh, and we’ll look at its wide range of benefits, too.

What is the gut microbiome?

As much as you may treat it like it is, your body is not just your own. Within you (and even on you, think skin) are trillions of microorganisms who call your body their home. The gut microbiome consists of all the microbes and their genes in the colon. There’s approximately 1,000 different bacterial species living in your intestine. Many of them are essential for your health, while a few can contribute to the development of disease.

In other words, the gut microbiome has a major impact on human health. It carries out essential functions including producing magic metabolites, like short-chain fatty acids and vitamins, which strengthen the gut barrier and promote a healthy immune system.

What is butyrate?
Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid produced by your gut microbes when they break down dietary fibre. One of the major benefits of butyrate for the gut is that it is the main source of fuel for the cells lining the colon, called colonocytes. Without it, these cells simply wouldn’t survive and the intestinal environment within which gut microbes thrive, wouldn’t exist.

That’s because colonocytes, when functioning effectively, keep the gut oxygen-free, providing the perfect environment for your gut microbes to flourish. Butyrate also regulates the natural movement of food through the gut and boosts blood flow to the colon. Basically, your gut needs butyrate!

The short-chain fatty acid has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties, too, preventing colorectal cancer. And, it has a pretty nifty way of doing it. Nature, in all its myriad forms, is the most powerful force on earth. Although mankind has tried, we have not found a way to match its awesome power, but we have found ways to work with it. Science often confirms the wisdom of the ancients who observed and then harnessed nature's rhythms and cycles to shape and enhance their lives. We can begin to do this in our own lives by first paying attention to our own natural rhythms, such as when we wake or when we feel the need to sleep. If possible, we may want to try to rise and sleep with the sun or live without electricity for a weekend and then monitor how we feel. We can make the choice to eat the foods of the seasons and to seek fresher, locally grown, or organic produce whose own cycles have not been tampered with by technology.

We can create harmony in our homes by making a smooth transition between our indoor and outdoor spaces. By bringing some of the outdoors inside and taking some of our indoor décor out, we can simultaneously enjoy nature and the comforts of home and the feeling that our living space is expanded. Then, whether inside or out, we can lounge on a comfortable piece of furniture and feel the wind, inhale the scent of deeply breathing plants, listen for the many songs of life, and observe the moon and the stars. As we do this more often, we may find ourselves noticing the pull of the full moon on bodies of water, as well as the water in bodies, or the music of the night acting as a lullaby.

When we seek balance in our lives, we want to balance not just our roles in life but also the natural elements in our spaces. Having representations of the elements in the colors, shapes, and textures of our homes will appeal to our mind, body, and spirit. We may find that when we sync ourselves with nature's rhythms, we ride the waves of energy to feel more in harmony with life and the world around us.

I feel the need to share this message with you!

By allowing ourselves to receive, we are given the gift of seeing through another person's eyes.
Giving and receiving are part of the same cycle, and we each give and receive in our own ways. But we can lose our balance when we try to be too controlling on either side of the cycle. On the receiving end, we may feel that we don't deserve the effort made if what we gave was easy for us to give. But perhaps there is a different lesson there for us. We may be receiving not only gratitude, but a chance to see the world through the eyes of another. We may be learning that just because we gave easily, it doesn't diminish its value. Or perhaps the universe is giving us an example to hold close to our hearts, to encourage us on some future day when our own generous act of giving is not met with a visible act of receiving. When we can allow ourselves to receive as well as give, we do our part to keep the channels of abundance open for ourselves and others.

Sometimes we may find ourselves struggling to respond to others' gifts in the same ways -- like responding to an expensive present with something equally expensive, or feeling like we have to throw a dinner party for someone who has thrown one for us. But when these are done out of a sense of obligation, their energy changes from something that shares to something that drains. If this sounds familiar, we can decide next time to allow ourselves to receive with arms, minds and hearts open and simply say thank you.

Accepting a person's gift is a gift in itself. Sincere appreciation for their acknowledgement and their effort joins our energy with theirs in the cycle of giving and receiving, and nurtures all involved. If ever we find we are still having difficulty, we can decide to allow ourselves to be conduits for gratitude and accept on behalf of a loving, giving universe.

When making big change in our lives, it can be easier to break it up into a few small changes to avoid overwhelm.
When we decide that it's time for big changes in our lives, it is wise to ease into them by starting small. Small changes allow us to grow into a new habit and make it a permanent part of our lives, whereas sudden changes may cause a sense of failure that makes it difficult to go on, and we are more likely to revert to our old ways. Even if we have gone that route and find ourselves contemplating the choice to start over again, we can decide to take it slowly this time, and move forward.

Sometimes the goals we set for ourselves are merely indicators of the need for change and are useful in getting us moving in the right direction. But it is possible that once we try out what seemed so ideal, we may find that it doesn't actually suit us, or make us feel the way we had hoped. By embarking on the path slowly, we have the chance to look around and consider other options as we learn and grow. We have time to examine the underlying values of the desire for change and find ways to manifest those feelings, whether it looks exactly like our initial goal or not. Taking small steps forward gives us time to adjust and find secure footing on our new path.

Life doesn't always give us the opportunity to anticipate or prepare for a big change, and we may find ourselves overwhelmed by what is in front of us. By choosing one thing to work on at a time, we focus our attention on something manageable, and eventually we will look up to see that we have accomplished quite a bit. Forcing change is, in essence, a sign that we do not trust the universe's wisdom. Instead, we can listen to our inner guidance and make changes at a pace that is right for us, ensuring that we do so in alignment with the rhythm of the universe.

On December 18, it will be the last full moon of 2021.

This is truly a wonderful moment to end the year positively.


Full moons are magical and beautiful. They have this certain energy that makes us feel closer to our higher selves.


It is as if, during this time, we become one with the Universe, and we can do anything we set our mind to.


On the last full moon, it is best that before anything else, you reflect on what has passed.


All these months, you have to applaud yourself for making it this far and be grateful for wherever you are now.


Before diving into 2022, let’s harness the energy of the full moon one last time and prepare for prosperity.


Here are some things you can do to make it a full moon to remember.

1. Release and Welcome Closure
The year is about to end, and this full moon is not the time for you to seek new beginnings… well, at least, not yet.


During this time, you have to release all the negative emotions and experiences you are still hanging on to.


This is a time to revel in the beauty of closure. Let what has passed remain in the past and learn from it.


Here’s a short meditation you can do.

• Light a candle near a place where you can sit comfortably.

• Sit down and close your eyes.

• Relive the moments of 2021 and reflect on them.

• If you’ve ever faced rejection, imagine it as a magical redirection.

• Change the narrative in your mind.

• Imagine that you received the abundance you’ve wished for.

• And allow your meditation to end there.

• Feel the positive and hopeful feelings surfacing.

• Tune into that energy.

You’re 60 seconds away from your dream life


When I first got into the manifestation space I learned

“Change your thoughts, change your mind”

Growing up I struggled a lot with anxiety and overthinking.

Before sleeping, my brain would replay scenarios in my head and cause me to imagine bad things happening all the time.

It was hard keeping up an affirmation or meditation practice. And even if I could, the benefits were temporary…

However, my life transformed once I discovered a secret that solved my debt, my relationships and reversed my health problems.

My reality changed once I fixed the real issue that was holding me back my entire life (you might not be aware of it yet)

Best thing is, this secret process takes only 60 seconds to reap the benefits..

2. Relax and Unwind
Yes, the year is ending. But this doesn’t mean that you should accomplish all that you want in one go.


Do not cram and stress yourself. Let go and let the Universe take action in blessing you for your efforts.


What you need to do during this full moon is relax and unwind.


Here’s how.

• Don’t overextend your schedule.

• Stay at home and think about what makes you happy.

• Read a book, binge-watch your favorite tv show, eat your comfort foods.

• Let this time be a relaxing one.

3. Trust the Process
I have already mentioned this before.


Trust the process because you might be thinking that December 18 might be a good time to rush the process. It is not.


Your manifestations are well on their way to you, and rushing them might not be helpful at this point.


You have to trust yourself, your power, and your amazing manifestation capability.


Try this instead.

• Take out your gratitude journal.

• Write down every single thing you are grateful for.

• After writing them, read them one by one.

• Take a look at the bigger picture and see that you have accomplished great things.

• Send a thank you message to the Universe.

• Believe that for now, this is exactly where you are destined to be.

• And have hope that tomorrow or even next week, an abundance miracle will happen.



Parting Thoughts
Full moons are a time to reflect on what has passed. It is also a time to simply be in the moment.


Cherish the present & believe that 2022 is the year for you.
