هل يُمكن للعلاج بالخلايا الجذعية أن يُعيد مفاصلك إلى حالتها الطبيعية؟ ليس بالتحديد.

مع أن الخلايا الجذعية تُساعد في تقليل الالتهاب ودعم إصلاح الغضروف في مراحله المبكرة، إلا أنها لا تستطيع تجديد الغضروف التالف بالكامل، على الأقل ليس بعد. الأبحاث جارية، ولكن في الوقت الحالي، يُفضل اعتبار الخلايا الجذعية أداة داعمة، وليس علاجًا فعالاً بالكامل.
