1. Peptic ulcer disease
Peptic ulcer disease is a disease that causes inflammation and ulcers on the lining of the stomach or duodenum (the first part of the small intestine). Duodenal ulcers accounted for 95%, gastric ulcers accounted for 60%, of which ulcers in the small curvature of the stomach accounted for 25% of cases.
