Workplace transport continue to be a major cause of accidents.

The dangers can come in more forms than you might think:

- collisions and crushing
- entrapment
- falls from height
- musculoskeletal conditions
- psychological and physiological effects
- fire and explosions

Incidents can occur at a number of locations and still be classed as happening ‘at the workplace’. For example, they can apply not only to established, permanent places of work but also to temporary work sites and associated operations.

We provide the Rigging & Slinging Awareness (LEEA) training to those who already possess, or are expected to possess, “hands-on” knowledge and/or responsibility for the handling of lifting equipment deployed in their operating environment.

The aim of this course is to provide selected delegates with basic underpinning knowledge of lifting and slinging to enable them to carry out lifting operations specific to their requirements and their environment in accordance with the law and without risk to health.

ETSDC offers Dangerous Goods Regulations training as part of the prerequisite for OPITO Helideck Operations Initial Training (HOITS).

Approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), this training is intended for load planners, load masters, flight operation officers, flight dispatchers and flight crew members. The validity of the certificate is 24 months which is awarded after successfully completing the examination. Recurrent training can be provided within 24 months of previous training to keep validity of certification and to ensure up to date knowledge.

ETSDC offers GCAA approved CAR-HVD Part 1 Heliport Landing Officer training which aims to provide helideck personnel with the knowledge, skill and attitudes which will enable learners to perform their tasks commensurate with their role within the organization efficiently, safely, and competently.

ETSDC offers IOSH Managing Safely course which aims to provide the managers and supervisors understanding of everyone’s safety and health responsibilities in the workplace. This course will enable them to recognize how they can influence, control and monitor risks to improve safety and health issues in the workplace.

Our purpose-built training facility, which is part of a world-class safety training provider, enhances the actual experiences of our trainees in a secure setting. Our training centre offers the following facilities:

- Two Indoor custom designed swimming pools
- HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
- TEMPSC (Lifeboat Training)
- 25 fully air-conditioned classrooms complete with all necessary visual aids and accessories for seamless delivery of theory
- Separate male and female changing rooms complete with 25 shower rooms
- Mess room from which hot and cold buffet meals are served
- Private Car Parking Area

As a tribute to them, ETSDC has launched a training program (an industry first!) designed especially for females who enrich our lives. We are committed to improving the quality of life by focusing on health and safety. The goal of this training program is to provide knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage an incident or emergency until professional help is available.

This course is FREE OF CHARGE and during this course you will be our honored guest, just a small gesture of Thank you from ETSDC to all the women.

Medical emergencies that are serious and life-threatening frequently result in the body’s oxygen levels dropping, putting the victim at risk for shock.

The ASHI Emergency Oxygen program focuses on administering emergency oxygen to breathing and non-breathing persons, emergency oxygen delivery systems and integrating pulse oximetry.

The Certificate is valid for 2 years and course duration for 2 hours.
