I had the privilege of performing a groundbreaking ⭐️ surgery on a young patient, just 42 years old, with a unilateral high-riding congenital hip dislocation.
Traditionally, these cases require femoral shortening osteotomy, leading to a permanent leg length discrepancy. However, I successfully brought the femur down by 7.8 cm to its anatomical place, ensuring both legs are equal, all without any damage to the sciatic nerve.
This surgery has completely changed her life. I couldn’t find such an achievement in the literature 💙
