This beautiful pose is a modification of bridge pose and is called Ekapada Sethubandha Sarvangasana in Sanskrit. It provides the benefits of both backbend and inversion, with the lifted leg adding an element of balance and grace.
It is great for improving lower back strength, relieving stress, and a good asana for the thyroid gland. Give it a try and feel the difference! 💪🧘♀️

Flamingo Yoga & Wellness is owned by Hema Laxman, who is an ERYT200, RYT 500, YACEP from Yoga Alliance USA, and certified with RepsUAE, the public register recognized by Sports Council, Dubai. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Nutrition, a Diploma in Weight Loss and has completed a three month course in Ayurvedic studies.
For all your yoga accessories, please check our online store. Flamingo Yoga e-Boutique aims to promote and raise awareness about the use of natural yoga accessories. Through our website, you will be able to purchase, all cotton handwoven yoga mats and blankets, silk eye pillows filled with flax seeds and lavender, Kapok filled bolsters, cotton straps and yoga blocks.
