COVID 19 and missing the mandatory Vaccines
Children between 5 to 6 years of age need vaccines as a Booster dose. The booster dose is very crucial in maintaining their immunity against various diseases. These vaccines are usually given in schools.
Due to lockdown and delay in school offline classes, many children have missed these mandatory vaccines.
Visit your Pediatrician now and get the pending vaccine.
Ask for the Grade 1 or 5th year or the Booster Vaccine.

The collateral effects of Lockdown: Childhood overweight and Childhood Obesity

Due to the COVID 19 Lockdown, children are missing on scheduled schools hours, activity while transport to school, scheduled physical activity in schools and after schools hours, well-balanced meals and snacks.

They have a more sedentary life and increased intake of snacks rich in sugars and processed foods.

This leads to increasing their weight in an unhealthy way and eventually overweight/obesity.

Most of the scientists and public health bodies are predicting and already witnessing a sudden rise in childhood overweight and obesity.

Let's fight the hidden epidemics like Childhood Obesity.

Its time for a walk with your child.

Children are most affected because of the COVID Lockdown.

Outdoor interaction and playing with peers is important for a steady and stable development of a child.

Lockdown has forced children to stay at home.

It is time to stay safe and within the Govt rules, to go for outdoor activities for children like walking and cycling !!

Outdoor exposure, regular physical activity and adequate sunlight exposure maintain the emotional, physical and mental health of children.

Stay safe. Social distance. Wear Mask. Walk with your child.
