Facility was designed by ADCAN Senior Management & built with partnership of CSV Italy & Hadeed Emirates Construction (HEC), UAE. The land is a leasehold from ZonesCorp (Abu Dhabi Municipality). Total Area is 32,800 m2 & The total built up area is 11,000 m2. The facility consists of Ground Floor for Production & Warehouse and First Floor Laboratories & Technical Areas. In a defining step toward medicines security and regional health innovation, His Excellency Dr. Thani Bin Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Emirates Drug Establishment, officially inaugurated Phase II of ADCANPharma’s next-generation manufacturing facility for Oncology and Hormones in Abu Dhabi.

ADCANPharma, Abu Dhabi, is a well-established, state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing complex for General, Oncology, and Hormone medicines. It was established in response to the UAE Government’s Strategy and Vision for 2030, aiming to support the local industry, particularly the pharmaceutical sector, to position the UAE as a regional hub for the pharmaceutical industry driven by the "Make it in the Emirates" campaign and contributing to In-Country Value (ICV).

ADCAN Pharma is the first and only Oncology and Hormone manufacturer in the UAE, and have received GMP certification from various countries such as MOHAP/EDE (UAE), SFDA(KSA), MOH (Yemen), MOH(Libya) EFDA (Ethiopia) and MOH (Iraq) to be leading export centric manufacturing facility in UAE to serve local and regional patients through high quality, Made in UAE, medicines.

ADCAN Pharma is also aiming to expand beyond Middle East & North Africa (MENA) through global certification from World Health Organization (WHO), European Medicine Agency (EMA) and United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) to elevate the international GMP compliance at local manufacturing facility to enhance export to target markets from UAE.
