Families, fun, and fresh air this Diabetes Awareness Month!
Our Family Fun Day on Saturday, 22 November brought together our staff, their families, as well as our patients, for an evening of wellness and activity. From cycling to blend fresh watermelon juice and testing football response time, to canvas painting, face painting, bracelet making, and a bouncy castle for the little ones - there was something for everyone to enjoy. We were also pleased to host our activities alongside the run organised by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority .
We’re proud to encourage families to get outdoors, stay active, and support the cause together. This special day also set the stage for our Diabetes Awareness Run held the very next morning at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

المرح والهواء الطلق في شهر التوعية بالسكري!
جمع يوم المرح العائلي يوم السبت، 22 نوفمبر، موظفينا وعائلاتهم، بالإضافة إلى مرضانا، في أمسية مليئة بالصحة والنشاط. من ركوب الدراجات لخلط عصير البطيخ الطازج واختبار سرعة الاستجابة في كرة القدم، إلى الرسم على القماش، وتلوين الوجوه، وصنع الأساور، والقلاع الهوائية للصغار — كان هناك ما يستمتع به الجميع. كما سعدنا بإقامة فعالياتنا جنباً إلى جنب مع سباق الأطفال المنظم من قبل هيئة أبوظبي للطفولة المبكرة.
نحن فخورون بتشجيع العائلات على الخروج إلى الهواء الطلق، والبقاء نشيطين، ودعم هذه القضية معاً. وقد مهّد هذا اليوم المميز الطريق لفعالية سباق التوعية بالسكري التي أُقيمت في صباح اليوم التالي مباشرة في مدينة زايد الرياضية بأبوظبي.

يوم الصحة المفتوح في القيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي
سعدت فرق مركز إمبريال كوليدج للسكري والغدد الصماء ومركز هيلث بلاس للسكري والغدد الصماء بتقديم فحوصات مستوى السكر في الدم وضغط الدم، دعمًا للتوعية والكشف المبكر.
كما قدّم مستشفى مورفيلدز للعيون أبوظبي فحوصات شاملة للنظر للحفاظ على صحة العيون.
كل الشكر لـشرطة أبوظبي على حسن الاستقبال وحفاوة الترحيب والتعاون المميز.

Our teams from Imperial College Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre and HealthPlus Diabetes & Endocrinology Center were proud to provide blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, supporting awareness and early detection.
Meanwhile, Moorfields Eye Hospital Abu Dhabi offered comprehensive vision tests, helping participants keep their eye health in focus.
A heartfelt thank you to Abu Dhabi Police for the warm welcome and wonderful collaboration.

At HealthPlus Fertility, there is an ultramodern genetics laboratory that is fully equipped to perform genetic testing on the embryos that are created using in vitro fertilization (IVF). Through genetic testing, a large amount of information can be acquired about an embryo before it is transferred to the uterus.

After the formation of an embryo via an IVF cycle that occurs following the egg collection and ICSI, the embryo is tested by taking a few cells from it. The embryo is not transferred to the uterus until the results are released.

لاختبار بآخذ بضع خلايا منه لاينقل الجنين إلى الرحم حتّى تظم النتاتج.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation®UAE celebrated World Diabetes Day by granting the wishes of 11 children with Type 1 diabetes, during a special event held with the generous support of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and hosted by both Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre and HealthPlus Diabetes & Endocrinology Center, part of M42 Health.

احتفلت مؤسسة “تحقيق أمنية” باليوم العالمي لمرضى السكري عبر تحقيق أمنيات 11 طفلاً وطفلة من المصابين بالسكري من النوع الأول، وذلك خلال فعالية خاصة أقيمت بدعم كريم من صندوق أبوظبي للتنمية، وباستضافة كل من مركز إمبريال كوليدج لندن للسكري والغدد الصماء ومركز هيلث بلاس للسكري والغدد الصماء.
