With Dr. Maha Majeed Hameed Al Obaidi, Medical Director of Mediclinic Al Jowhara hospital, as we moderated CME lectures this morning. It was a truly excellent morning, with quality presentations by Dr Mutaz Abunassar, Consultant Neurosurgeon, and Dr Adnan Jalkho, Specialist Neurologist.

Today, I was given a certificate of appreciation, and a truly beautiful golden plaque by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) through the Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs Dr. Taleb M. Almansoori.

I am truly grateful, and really delighted that UAEU has picked up on how much I value the relationship and the collaboration between Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital and the University.

This lovely token of appreciation came after a lecture that I gave on Monday at UAEU, to 6th year medical students.

We are looking forward to deepening and expanding the collaboration between our hospital and the university in the field of medical education, as we are hosting and teaching medical students and interns already, and will perhaps also be involved in residency programs in the future.

The other major area of collaboration we want to expand will of course be in the field of medical research, and this is already taking place as well, on various research projects.

Many thanks to Dr. Taleb and Dr. Mohi Eldin Magzoub, Head of Medical Education ! I feel humbled and honored.
