Operamed are proud to have been awarded the contract for the Operating Department at the new King Hamad American Mission Hospital Facility in Bahrain. As part of this prestigious new development, Operamed will install 5 new operating theatres using the innovative TrueSpace solution, including a hybrid room which will be installed using the advanced Corian wall panel, and incorporating the latest in advanced Video Management Systems.

The American Mission Hospital was the first modern hospital in Bahrain when it was opened in 1903., and this latest facility takes the concept of the modern hospital to new levels of sophistication, both in terms of integrated technology, and ecological sustainability.

Commenting following the award, Operamed Director David Hague (Pictured below with AMH CEO Dr George Cheriyan, and representatives of the local distributor YMHIT Reji John and Alexander Thomas) said that “To work with such a well organised, forward thinking Hospital, whose vision is closely aligned with our own, is an absolute honour for our first project in Bahrain.”

The award comes after many months of strenuous activity, design and re-design work alongside the team at YMHIT, and is a great example of how teamwork, innovation and trust can start to redefine the standards in every market.
