                                            DID YOU KNOW IN THE BIBLE, GOD COMMANDED HIS PEOPLE TO HAVE HEALTHY HABITS?
GENESIS 1:29
βThen God said, βI give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.'β
- This scripture emphasizes the importance of a healthy diet. God has provided us with an abundance of nutritious foods that are not only good for our bodies but also delicious. Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help us maintain good health and prevent disease. Eat balanced diet.
PROVERBS 31:17
βShe sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.β
- This scripture highlights the importance of physical strength and fitness. Taking care of our bodies and staying physically fit allows us to better carry out the tasks that God has given us. Whether it be caring for our families, serving in our communities, or pursuing our passions, physical fitness allows us to do so with greater energy and vigor. Exercise more.
PROVERBS 3:24
βWhen you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.ββ
-This scripture shows that the Creator wants us to rest peacefully and wants us not to be bothered by any circumstances in our lives. Get enough sleep.
 PROVERBS 17:22
βA cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.β
This scripture reminds us that joy and happiness are important for our physical and mental health. Laughter has been shown to reduce stress, boost the immune system, and improve overall well-being. Therefore, it is important to make time for things that bring us joy and happiness, such as spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies, and engaging in activities that we enjoy. Manage our stress.
PSALM 25:8-9, PSALM 32:8, PROVERBS 4:11 and PHILIPPIANS 4:9
βGood and upright is the Lord;
therefore He instructs sinners in His ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them His way.β
βI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.β
βI instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.β
βWhatever you have learned or received or heard from Me, or seen in Meβput it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.β
-These words mean that God will teach us and He allows us to learn something new that could enlighten our minds and souls. Remember when you learn new things, you feel enthusiastic and you can pass this joy to others that can lead encouragement to them.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20
βDo you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.β
-This word of God is a powerful reminder that our bodies are not our own, but rather they belong to God. Therefore, we are called to honor God with our bodies by taking care of them. This includes eating a healthy diet, getting enough exercise, and avoiding things that can harm our bodies. Pursue wellness. Live healthy.
