Homeschooling your children.
It brings out the worst in us all.
Am I right?!
I’m dysregulated on the daily. But at least for now I’m in sunny Zanzibar so I can shake that off quite quickly with a dip in our pool 💦 ☀️ and a little mindset work.
We don’t know when schools will go back - if at all this term. So brace yourself mums, we’re in for a long journey.
My top tips ⬇️
• Be kind to yourself.
• Do the bare minimum.
• Ask the teachers for more support or guidance.
• Keep as much of a routine as possible (kids thrive off predictability)
• Be silly - if you have space for playfulness - to take the edge off
• Celebrate any effort - you’re incredible
• Talk it out with your friends bc all us mums are struggling to some degree
• Get your partner to share the load - it doesn’t just fall onto our laps
• Keep up your daily rituals - movement, mindset, spirituality, connection, nourishment, joy - that can’t stop
