Day 1 | AI in Communications Summit – Canada 🇨🇦 (Vancouver)
What a strong start in Vancouver.
Day 1 was all about turning AI from buzzword to practical advantage. Cam Gordon opened with a powerful reminder that communicators play a critical role in shaping Canada’s AI story. Christine Andrew brought clarity to the change management side of AI adoption — because tools don’t transform organisations, people do. Ally MacLellan showed how to co-create with AI without losing brand voice or authenticity.
In the afternoon, Belle Baldoza shared smart ways to level up storytelling with generative AI, while Alex Sévigny grounded the room in governance, workflows, and reputation protection. Felipe Curcio, Kurt Heinrich, and Steve Lowry unpacked how better data foundations unlock better AI outcomes. Mary Warner closed the day with a look at AI agents and how they’re reshaping team collaboration.
Great energy. Smart questions. Very real conversations.
