We are back in Doha 🇶🇦

Day 1 of the Global PR Summit Middle East 6 was an incredible kick-off — packed with powerful sessions, inspiring speakers, and an atmosphere buzzing with energy and ideas.

From Farnaz Khadem’s opening keynote on leading communications in a rapidly changing world to thought-provoking sessions by Christian Lindmeier, Justin Kerr-Stevens, Paul Venn, Samer Costantini, Mariam Farag, Fahad Bahdailah, Oualid Bakkas, Nicole Moreo and Fida Kibbi — and guided throughout the day by our amazing moderators Elie Scherbel from A2Z Media Group and Mohamed Alshami from Doha News — today was all about leadership, authenticity, AI and the future of PR.

Our very first Crisis Communications Boot Camp in California kicked off yesterday in Los Angeles — and what a start!

We opened with Brent Gambill (NASCAR) on the reputational risks no one sees coming, then Joy Lambert (Edelman) on tackling deepfakes and disinformation, and Michelle Agnew (Coca-Cola) on thriving in a state of constant crisis.

In the afternoon, Brandi Boatner (IBM) gave us a survival guide to cancel culture, followed by James Barndt (Status Labs) on top digital threats, and Emily Blair on navigating instant outrage.

We wrapped up with Sean Greenwood (Ben & Jerry’s) on authentic advocacy and Angela Ingram sharing frontline lessons in turning chaos into clarity.
