Here I am, sharing my journey with you about breast cancer screening It was a quick and smooth process .
I grow up seeing members of my family and closed friends go through a painful journey with breast cancer diagnosis and its devastating outcomes in some of the members . My best friend , , childhood friend ( who is watching this reel today ) fought for her life at age of 40, proudly I say she is a warrior .
Sadly , where I come from , there are many healthy ladies loss their lives for Breast cancer.
There was no formal awareness about health screening . Hence, educating the closest circle about this is a paramount of spreading the word.
Lately , there are many conflicting theories about benefits of mammogram and some of them against it.
Let me tell you , the risk of dying from mammogram radiation is far less than you dying from a car accident though we still drive our cars daily ( in my case ๐, the risk is higher as I need to drive my car faster than anyone some times to save a life , hence my risk of dying of car accident is higher than mammogram radiation every two years !!๐)
Ultrasound scan will. It be enough to find out a very small cancer change , mammogram and MRI do .
If you do not want to do it for yourself do for the loved ones in your life your kids , your parents and all people who will be hurt and sad seeing u loss for a nasty diagnosis .
