If you have extremely dry or oily skin, moisturizing every day can help you to prevent dryness, soothe sensitive skin, and reduce the likelihood of other common skin conditions such as acne or blemishes, among others.
However, when it comes to the question of whether moisturizers can prevent wrinkles from forming, the answer is NO.

Wrinkles are a result of aging skin and volume loss, and are completely natural. Consulting a dermatologist is the right course of action to get rid of wrinkles permanently. These treatment options can also enhance your overall appearance. Chemical peels, Botox and Laser therapy etc., are some of the most widely-used processes that can help you achieve a smooth, wrinkle-free complexion.
So, what are you waiting for? Take the necessary steps to improve your skin now!

PHAs, or polyhydroxy acids are gradually taking over the cosmetics industry. PHAs, in contrast to AHAs and BHAs, are significantly larger in size & only work on the outer layers of the skin. They are used for exfoliating, skin smoothing, moisturizing, and anti-aging benefits. Some common PHAs are galactose, lactobionic acid and gluconolactone.

Advantages of using PHA -
✅ Good for sensitive skin.
✅ Anti-inflammatory.
✅ Maintain skin hydration.
✅ Non-irritating.
✅ Effectively combat & inhibit glycation.

Application of PHA -
Start by using a PHA product at night. It will protect your skin from unnecessary inflammation brought on by sun exposure. After a week, you can move to applying every other day, and after two weeks, you can use a PHA product every day.
You’ll be amazed to see how it works wonders on your skin and improves your overall radiance!

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) are two chemical exfoliants that are commonly found in skin care products and can help remove dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin.
AHAs, which are chemical exfoliants that dissolve in water, work on the skin's surface to smooth out fine lines and visible wrinkles. They can also enhance skin texture and tone, unblock and cleanse pores, and can improve overall skin condition. Glycolic, citric, tartaric, lactic, malic and mandelic acids are some of the most popular AHAs.
BHAs, on the other hand, are oil-soluble chemical exfoliants. They operate on the epidermis and can pe*****te the pores deeper. They can lessen skin inflammation and eliminate acne. The two most popular kinds of BHA are citric acid and salicylic acid.

AHAs & BHAs should be applied in very less concentration.
Even though both of these acids help smooth out the skin's overall texture, layering them could be too harsh for your skin and lead to serious rashes, acne, hyperpigmentation, and other skin problems. As a precautionary measure, space out the application of these two products by at least a few days or a week.

Both AHAs & BHAs can be used day or night. But make sure that you don’t overuse an AHA product. Instead, use it once every other day. BHAs, however, are safe for daily use. Be sure to use sunscreen afterward as exfoliation leaves the skin more susceptible to UV damage.

[Note: A product that contains both AHA and BHA is relatively safe to use on all skin types because it contains a balanced percentage of both acids.]
