Dubai hosts the 17th Annual Meeting of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Taking place in the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City - on 17-19 March 2022.
Dr. Muaaz Tarabichi, Consultant Otolaryngologist, Co-Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, emphasized the importance of this conference stating that this international event is attracting some of the world’s most skilled and renowned international surgeons. The latest developments in the fields of hearing, cochlear implants, hearing-loss patients’ rehabilitation, chronic sinus infections, snoring, sleep apnea, and imbalance problems will be covered during this three-day conference.
The speakers will unveil some of the most recent and critical researches as well as groundbreaking discoveries in the fields of Otorhinolaryngology and sleep apnea in children and adults.
Dr. Tarabichi added that the academy, since the conference’s inception, has been keen on inviting 30 Otorhinolaryngology students and trainees from the Middle East covering their travel, accommodation, and registrations, in an effort to provide them with practical experience and further sharpen their skills. The conference will enroll these students in a knowledge competition where the winners will be granted a scholarship covering their higher studies.
Under the sponsorship and supervision of internationally renowned surgeons, workshops take place in the conference demonstrating equipment used in Eustachian tube surgeries and robot-assisted airways surgery. Dr. Tarabichi emphasized the effectiveness of laryngoscopes in Otorhinolaryngology surgeries and their convenience for the patient.
