DOH Abu Dhabi Update | OTHM Level 7 Diploma

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi currently recognises GPs and Dental Specialists who have completed the OTHM Level 7 Diploma, together with the required supervised and independent clinical cases, as part of eligibility to practise in the Emirate.
These stringent requirements are designed to ensure practitioners meet robust academic, scientific, and practical standards, delivered through structured supervision and documented clinical competency.

The diploma offers a comprehensive curriculum designed for experienced practitioners, supported by a highly experienced faculty with extensive clinical, academic and teaching backgrounds across aesthetic and medical practice.
While the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has referenced the OTHM Level 7 Diploma (OFQUAL Regulated) within its regulatory framework, approvals remain subject to individual assessment. Nevertheless, the inclusion of this qualification reflects a broader move towards structured, higher-level education in our field.
The International OTHM Level 7 Diploma is available in Dubai through Vilafortuny and Derma Institute, providing access to advanced training pathways grounded in evidence-based practice and real-world clinical experience.
