1) Online Coaching

3 different options to suit YOUR individual training preference. We create a structured training programme for you to follow with the option to check in with us weekly or monthly, to make sure you are staying on track. We do the programming, we tell you exactly what you should be doing...all you need to do is follow it. You can do this anywhere in the world, at home or when you travel. If you are new to training, want a coach to train you remotely or to ensure you are lifting with the right technique, LIVE online PT sessions are available. 2) Nutrition

Nutrition Plans available, tailored and customised to help YOU reach your goals. Understand more about your body, your Basal Metabolic Rate and how many Calories your body needs in relation to Weight Loss or Weight Gain. Find the foods that work for your lifestyle by understanding the different types of Macronutrients and how to utilise this on a daily basis using portion control and a balanced diet. Plans can be 4 week, 8 week or 12 weeks.

3) Health & Fitness

Training Programme available, specific to YOU and what YOU want to achieve. Follow a structured training programme to enhance your performance and physique. Whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle, get back into exercise postpartum or have a sport specific focus, you need to exercise with a purpose. By following a programme you are much more likely to achieve results and see a change. Training programmes can be 4 week, 8 week or 12 weeks.

We’re nearly half way through the 30 days of the 🗓️

I’ve said before but I think it’s a great initiative. Fitness villages popped up across the city, free events & fitness classes to take part in plus the opportunity to run / ride down Sheikh Zayed Road.

Are you really busy at work that you often skip meals? 💻

I’ve worked with many clients like this. They “think” is helps with their weight loss, as they are not eating as much so therefore will lose weight.

But you are messing with your metabolism. I would argue, eating more frequently has a better impact on your health & fat loss instead of skipping meals.

👉🏼 You skip lunch
👉🏼 You replace it with extra caffeine
👉🏼 You feel really hungry after work
👉🏼 You order a takeaway or fast food
👉🏼 You still feel hungry after it
👉🏼 You crave sugar
👉🏼 You think you’ve eaten less but by the end of the day, you’re probably in a surplus.

Day 1 of

Missed a few seminars due to work but business comes first 🏋🏼‍♂️

Great to catch up with the owners of & fellow professionals in the industry.

I bumped into some old faces along with some students I used to teach & ex work colleagues.

Aside from the madness of the supplement companies throwing out protein samples, there are some great speakers.

You’ve probably heard of mind to muscle connection before 🧠

It’s thinking about the muscle you’re working on the machine, pretty basic right? Wrong ❌

It’s a skill. The ability to centre your attention on a target muscle, throughout the concentric & eccentric contraction phase takes a lot of focus.

If you’ve seen me in the gym with my eyes closed 👀 I’m trying to tap into this by feeling the movement & maintaining proper technique.

Give it a try next time you train. Choose a machine, not free weights, as it’s safer.

First, check the set up & make sure you have good posture, alignment & technique.

Then try to deliberately focus on mind to muscle connection, on each rep. Feel the muscle lengthen & shorten, feel where the load is at its hardest & easiest. Try to switch on the muscle as best as you can & you should experience a more effective set.

Start with a lighter/ medium weight before doing this on a heavy lift for the first time.

With only a few months left of this year, I’m looking at the next.

I want to hit the ground running, not face an uphill mountain to climb ❌

We always do it, we leave things too late.

You could wait until January. Most of the PT’s schedules are full & you’ll rather wait until everyone else starts their NY resolutions…

Or

You start now. You get ahead of the game. You build a solid foundation to end the year so that the habits are already set for January. You build momentum now & change gear after Christmas with the wheels already in motion instead of starting from zero.

This year is extra special as I’ll be on the VIP panel with other leading professionals on Saturday 25th October 2pm.

The annual event is a big part of the health & fitness calendar. Over 3 days gym owners, fitness professionals, brands, retailers & distributors come together with key speakers from around the world to showcase & educate the industry.

Since moving to Dubai, I’ve attended this show every year.
