Cian graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2018. Since then he has predominantly plied his trade in elite sport at AFC Bournemouth and Reading FC. Alongside this he has completed a Masters degree researching hip injuries in Premier League footballers. Following his time in elite sport, Cian spent time working with the general population and athletes in private clinics throughout Singapore and the UAE.
He specialises in a wide range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries; including hip and groin injuries, acute lower limb injuries, chronic overuse injuries and growth related youth athletic injuries. His experience ranges from post-op care to late stage sport specific rehab.
He also employs evidence-based treatment modalities, personalised exercise prescription, objective assessments, and hands-on therapy techniques throughout the rehabilitation process. He advocates for a client-centric approach aimed at pinpointing the root cause, thereby allowing patients to emerge from injury stronger, faster, and more resilient than before, enabling a seamless return to daily activities, work, and sports.
