First of a little series with the absolutely wonderful . She has a lot to say about health and wellbeing and is the PERFECT example of what it takes to look and feel remarkable at 50.

In this first one, I kind of talk at Alexandra for a fair bit of it 😂😂 only because we were on one of my favourite topics; Botox.

More to come on how Alexandra doesn’t abuse the toxins OR use many/any cosmetic procedures and yet has skin to be envious of.

Look Well. Feel Well. Be Well.

Thanks to for the wonderful setting.

…because they work.

Get yourself some good quality, preferably legitimate, peptides and it’s unusual not to see some benefit.

What’s they do:
They don’t accumulate in the body and get broken down in to amino acids.
They replicate naturally occurring processes that often decline a little as we age.
People report to feeling and looking better when using them.
Many studies are underway to investigate the concurrent use of them in major diseases such as oncology and TBI.

What they aren’t:
SMARTIES. They affect your physiology - use supervised and from trust worthy providers.
Without risk. They can and do cause major histamine releases. This can and does cause major allergy responses.
Convenient. They are fragile little buggars. They need to be kept away from the light, the heat and most still require you to inject yourself.

I think medicine is on the brink on exceptional change and I do think peptides will be a huge part of this change.

Look Well. Feel Well. Be Well.

Aside from the annoying laugh and some water in the boat - always a pleasure to talk to the lovely Carlotta, plastic surgeon at Healthbay.

I agree- fat grating is the best for volume loss.

Look Well. Feel Well. Be Well.

Little pensive moment upon a rock in Sharjah.
Where better to have a pensive thought I say.

We are nothing without our emotional and social health. A wonderful talk yesterday .study mentioned how mental health is the under current for our health and overall morbidity.

AKA - focusing on physical data alone is short sighted. We are humans, not robots.

Doing things we enjoy, teaching ourselves the art of positive thinking, learning to be content, being close with our peers .. all of these are fundamental components to longevity and wellbeing. Not just looking at our HRV.

No matter what way we look at it - life is ultimately short. Let’s make the most of it, extract the most from it and understand that doing this, had exceptionally value to our health and lifespan as a result.

Look Well. Feel Well. Be Well. Do something you bloody enjoy.

Water - get close to it, drink more of it and use it to wash your face more.

There is just something about being close to the water.

We know it may expose you to more Vitamin D - this is simply explained.

But why it helps so much with mood and wellbeing is just so interesting and scientifically challenging to explain.

And yes, I like to write a little poetry here and there. Won’t be winning any awards but it keeps me out of trouble.

Look Well. Feel Well. Be Well.

Yes it’s a toxin and many don’t like it..but I’ve worked with botulin toxins for a very long time and I’d be lying if I did not admit to being a fan.

I use it to help people with their confidence, their smoker lines, their headaches, their jaw pain, their back spasms, their sweating, their sexual performance issues, their heavy brows…

Love it or loathe it, it has many uses.. and helping those with their head and neck pain is the most rewarding one for me.
