HC- Pilates & Dance Hened Choueiry offers Pilates sessions, Pilates rehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Pilates for Dance

This is an educational page on fitness and well-being, more specifically geared towards a mindful and functional Pilates training. It is also concerned with Pilates for dancers to improve their technique and performance. In addition to the above, Pilates rehabilitation sessions can be provided for those recovering from various injuries or surgeries. Regardless of the context, the Pilates sessions will help improve postures in general (more specifically for professionals who stand or sit for long periods of time), movement mechanics and performance for athletes and dancers. Nevertheless, the sessions are customised to help the client reach their personal goal within a holistic approach that looks at the overall functioning of the body as an entity. Some are dreadful others are exciting.
But certainly they always invite us to delve deeper, reflect and figure out how to get from point A to point B with the best possible way (literally and figuratively).

The brain likes prediction, therefore the more patterns and movement strategies the nervous system builds, the more comfortable it feels about the journey from A to B.

And reality at this very moment is about pampering the spine and hips on the ladder barrel.

Coupled with breath work and opening of the front lines of the upper body, we tend to feel taller, straighter and lighter afterwards (like a flattened Tom&Jerry ๐Ÿ˜„)
