Rest isn't always the answer. .rehab
Here are 5 signs you need physiotherapy, not just time off:
1 Pain that's lasted more than 2 weeks.
Your body is telling you something. Rest alone won't fix an underlying issue.
2 Pain that keeps coming back.
Recurring injury means the root cause hasn't been addressed. That's exactly what physio is for.
3 Swelling that won't go down.
This could indicate damage that needs a proper assessment, not just ice and hope.
4 Pain that changes how you move.
If you're limping, compensating, or avoiding movement, you need a physio.
5 Weakness or instability.
Feeling like a joint "gives way" or isn't strong? That's a structural or neuromuscular issue that rehab can fix.
The earlier you get assessed, the faster you recover.
