Dr Jehad Al Sukhun is a British / Jordanian oral and maxillofacial surgeon with a Master’s degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Manchester and a PhD from the University of London in the United Kingdom. He has gained a number of fellowships and professional memberships in the United States and United Kingdom. During his PhD studies at the University of London, Dr Jehad Al Sukhun obtained in-depth knowledge and experience in maxillofacial implantology and and computer aided surgery using Finite Element Analysis. Dr Jehad Al Sukhun worked at well reputed academic University Hospitals in Europe and the Middle East e.g. Royal Manchester University Hospital (UK), Royal Surrey County Hospital (UK), Helsinki University Hospital (Finland), Shaikh Khalifah Medical City (UAE) and MedCare Hospital (UAE). Dr Jehad Al Sukhun has gained significant clinical experience in specialised dentistry, implantology, oncology, trauma, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. He developed particular interest on the use of bioresorbable plates for reconstructing orbital fractures. During his work in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr Al-Sukhun produced more than 40 papers published in an international peer review journals.
