Job Overview:
As an LIS Integration Specialist, you will work with our hospital clients to integrate their lab devices with the Cerner EMR solution. You will be responsible for technical integration activities, ensuring seamless connectivity, integration, and functional testing of lab analyzers across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute technical integration activities for various lab analyzers at multiple sites.
Conduct full-cycle connectivity, integration, and functional testing.
Coordinate with the project team, healthcare providers, lab technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly to ensure continuous system operation.
Conduct testing and validation of device integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Provide training and support to end-users on the integrated systems.
Document integration processes and maintain comprehensive records for future reference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in lab integration.
Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium, including PowerChart, PathNet, and other modules.
Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, DICOM standards, and lab device communication protocols.
Experience with integration engines like Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, and Mirth Connect.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
