Flowing through one of my favorite mini-sequences โจ
Starting with Cat and Cow, gently waking up my spine, connecting each movement to a slow, steady breath. Feeling every inhale open the chestโฆ every exhale melt tension away.
From there, easing into a smooth transition, letting my body guide the flow โ building warmth, grounding through my palms, and moving with intention.
Finally rising into Chair Pose, rooting through my feet and lifting my heart. A reminder that strength can also feel soft, and that balance begins with being present in the moment.
This flow is my way of reconnecting with myself โ mind, body, and breath. ๐ฟ๐

In this reel, Iโm sharing 3 variations so you can choose the level that fits your body today:
๐งก Beginner:
For anyone who is new to backbends, has tight shoulders, or is still building core and glute strength.
Start with supported bridges or a gentle wheel with blocks to open the chest safely.
๐ Intermediate:
Great for practitioners who already have good shoulder mobility and can press up into wheel comfortably.
This variation helps deepen the arch and build strength and stability.
๐ Advanced:
For those who have strong backbend fundamentals, good wrist + shoulder flexibility, and control in the spine.
These variations include deeper lifts, walking the hands closer to the feet, or leg lifts.
Remember: Every level is valid. Listen to your body and progress at your own pace.

We set up our studio 3 years ago and our raison dโetre was to try and roll out a style of Ashtanga Yoga teaching and instruction that is the closest to the original form of this age-old Indian discipline. Our programmes have been crafted to include all 8 branches that together make up Yoga. That is why our signature course is called Asana & Beyond. Because Asana, or the posture (like the one you see above), is just one branch of the science of Yoga and our attempt is to take you beyond the merely physical.
The ultimate goal of Ashtanga Yoga is a vision of equanimity and this can only be achieved step by step, passing through all 8 branches of the discipline.
Our courses are enriched through our study, knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Pranic Healing. What we hope to help you achieve is a transformation from the inside-out.
Besides our Beyond courses, we have programmes for the youth, Yoga therapy sessions and possibly the only RYS200 & RYS500 certified Teacherโs Training Course (TTC) in Dubai.
