Tonsillectomy with plasma technology
As a unique service in Hungary, we perform tonsillectomy with plasma technology. Its biggest advantages are less pain after the surgery and quicker recovery.
The surgery type is called coblation. During the operation a controlled plasma field is created, this allows to cut the tissues in low temperature, and thus to perform minimal invasive surgeries. This way, the tissues around the line of the lesion are only slightly impaired, used mostly in ear-nose-throat surgery, for throat and nose tonsill removal or diminution, tongue base and co**ha nasalis diminution. With coblation, there is less pain after the operation, surgery time is quicker, there is less bleeding and recovery is quicker

What is MS?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
The cause of MS is still unknown – scientists believe the disease is triggered by as-yet-unidentified environmental factor in a person who is genetically predisposed to respond.
The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease.

Infertility Centre of Buda:
One of the most important, independent occupational areas of the Infertility Centre of Buda is the problem of infertility and failed pregnancies. Fully comprehensive examination is ensured by the laboratoric and UH-diagnostic sections and the endoscopic centre that carries out the most laparoscopic and hysteroscopic operations in Hungary. Interventions of this type belong to the so called minimal-invasive forms of medical attendance. The centre operates as a seperate department within a 1800 beds hopsital. The Centre conducts its treatment activities as a ’one-day-surgery’
The reproductive centre has achieved unique results at IVF treatment, the rate of clinical pregnancies is excess of 40 %, and the rate of new born babies is 30%.

The National Institute of Oncology has been the epidemiological, organizational, methodological, treatment, research and training centre of Hungarian oncology for more than half a century now. It can be compared with any other country's national oncology institute, it is the only comprehensive cancer centre in Hungary and in the neighboring countries. It is highly recognized and has a patient satisfaction index above 95%.
The Institute's secret is the professional excellence and human strength of its staff.
The Institute conducts its treatment activities with the assistance of 1006 people, at 10 inpatient and diagnostic departments, utilizing 347 beds, furthermore it consists of 6 clinical research departments.
The Institute admitted and looks after the National Cancer Register and is continuously ingaged in current questions regarding the structure and activity of Hungarian oncology.
The Institute's 7 research and 10 clinical departments fulfill their duties under high intellectual and technological circumstances. In a year we treat for about 16 thousand new inpatients, 20 thousand patients get treatments in multiple sessions and the number of our outpatient events reaches almost up to 500 thousand.
