Lala Langtry White Doula Support

Lala Langtry White Doula Support Providing individualised support for every family in their unique journey through pregnancy, labour,

Whether you are interested in a birthing class, or would like to work with me as your birth doula, I am here to provide the emotional, educational and physical support you need not only during labor, but throughout your pregnancy and postnatal period as well. I firmly believe in supporting a woman to have a positive and joyful birth experience whatever her birth choices and no matter what turn her pregnancy and may birth take. As a mother of four including premature twins, I know first hand of the benefits of having consistent doula support through pregnancy, birth and into motherhood; nurturing you through the most important and incredible transition in a woman's life. I take the great pleasure in supporting women through pregnancy and birth and, utilising my experience and training, specialise in supporting women with high risk pregnancies, those anticipating premature delivery and those expecting multiples. Often this goes hand in hand with the support work that I do through Small and Mighty Babies and TwinsPlus Arabia. I am also a stillbirth and bereavement doula with grief training and am able to assist parents in creating a Love Through Loss memory box.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the most exquisite and transcendent wellbeing experience with the Waterflow session by

It’s unlike any massage or treatment I’ve ever had. It felt like my body, mind and soul all took a collective exhale and deep release together. When you work holding space for others, feeling this held, supported, moved and met with such gentle intention by Liberty is just so profound.

Part floatation therapy, part movement, part massage and part sound healing and wholly wonderful from start to finish.

I met Liberty what feels like a long time ago when she introduced and guided me through womb steaming and the benefits it holds - something I share with clients as a unique self care and soothing connection practice when preparing for or recovering from birth (and beyond).

If you’re thinking of booking a massage, book this instead! Truly, it’s that special and unique.

I could imagine it being absolutely wonderful in the second trimester of pregnancy - that weightless ease and sense of being held and safely suspended in the warm water….bliss. And for postpartum women, whether you are 40 days or 40 years post birth - it feels like a beautiful coming home to your body and its rhythm again. I wanted to curl up and doze in the sun after. Just so deeply relaxed.

Unique. Restorative. Soul-filling.

Thank you so much Liberty for today and for being the truly wonderful gift of a human to the wellbeing space here in Dubai that you are 🙏🏽✨💗. Your love and intention radiates through this incredible experience.

FYI - this is me dozing, totally zonked out after the session on Liberty’s magic floating pillow. For more images to understand what to expect take a look at

Baby Loss Awareness Week runs from the 9th-15th of October every year, and during this tender week of remembrance, awareness, and connection, we hold a very special free Evening of Remembrance on Saturday 11th October, 5pm-7.15pm, for families in our community. The Nature Escapes at Al Barari offers a beautiful, peaceful setting where parents, families, and those who support the baby loss community in the UAE can come together with love, gentleness, and compassion - honouring every baby who was deeply loved but died during pregnancy, birth, or infancy.

Each year, we invite you to create a small but meaningful keepsake - a wooden star engraved with your baby's name, nickname, or a word that feels right for you. These can be collected at the Evening of Remembrance or sent to you if you are unable to attend, so that every family feels included wherever they are. The link to order your star can be found here:

This year, we will be planting a coconut tree in honour of all the families in the Love Through Loss community, in memory of your child, baby and loss. We will gather together at 5:30pm on Saturday 11th October to plant this tree before beginning our remembrance ceremony, readings and the gentle lighting of candles for a Wave of Light.

The coconut tree will be planted beside the olive tree and coconut tree we planted last year. The olive tree was planted in remembrance of the devastatingly high rates of baby loss in Palestine, standing as a symbol of peace, resilience, and connection to all families grieving across borders. Together, these trees create a dedicated place in the Nature Escapes gardens at Al Barari - a space we can return to year after year, knowing it holds the love and memory of all our babies.
If you would like to contribute towards the cost of the new coconut tree, you are warmly invited to choose an option from the link below that feels right for you. Any contributions beyond the tree itself will help nurture and enhance the beautiful Nature Escapes space, which has become such a meaningful sanctuary for our community.

Everyone is welcome to be part of the tree planting and to share in a moment of silence and reflection before we walk back to the main remembrance event. We will gather at the main stage at 5:30pm and walk together through the gardens to the planting place.

Though there will be some chairs and refreshments provided, you are welcome to bring a picnic rug and your own refreshments if you prefer. Siblings are warmly welcomed as part of the event, we recognise they have navigated loss too and we also recognise that this can stir many feelings in those who may not have a living child, we want you all to feel welcome, held and safe - there is always space to take a quiet walk or sit with your own thoughts in nature if you need time apart from the main gathering.
Mosquito repellent is advisable. Light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available nearby.

The Evening of Remembrance will close with some readings and the lighting of candles at 7pm, a gentle and unifying moment where parents, families, friends and the professionals who walk alongside us can come together in remembrance of all babies who lit up our hearts and lives, however briefly we held their physical presence. If there is anything you would like to contribute within this, please feel able to reach out to us.

There is no need to RSVP. Please know that you are welcome, you are held and you are not alone. If you have any questions, we are always here for you.

✨ A doula is not a magic wand. ✨

We don’t guarantee a certain type of birth and we’re not here to direct you or 'save' you from your experience. What we do promise is to walk beside you, not in front or above you, as you navigate one of life’s most powerful journeys.

Evidence shows that doula support can lower interventions, reduce cesarean births, shorten labour and even improve outcomes for babies. But our true purpose is not in the doing—it’s in the being. We hold space, offer knowledge, nurture calm and remind you of your own innate strength and wisdom. Because whether your baby is born unmedicated or with pain relief, vaginally or abdominally, you are the magic in your birth story. ✨

We also support partners, helping them feel included, confident and integral to the birth experience. By offering resources, reassurance and fostering confidence, we help set the foundation for the teamwork that parenthood requires.

And when you find one of us, you find all of us! Doulas are deeply connected to Dubai’s holistic birth community; from women’s health physios to chiropractors, lactation consultants, and beyond. We can help you navigate the local birth landscape, explore hospitals and care options, and connect with trusted professionals who align with your hopes.

There’s a saying I love: “A doula is like an umbrella, you don’t know if you’re in for a shower or a storm, but you’ll be glad you had one.” Birth can be as unpredictable as the weather. Sometimes it flows gently, sometimes it roars, but in every case, having someone who is there solely for you brings comfort, grounding and reassurance.

You are the author, the strength, the wisdom, the magic. We are simply here to walk beside you. ✨

This is not just noise - it’s resistance. It’s grief. It’s shame & outrage! It’s a desperate demand for the world to stop looking away or thinking this is someone else’s issue, not yours or mine. It’s a call by Bisan Owda, an extraordinary voice of courage broadcasting daily from Gaza for global solidarity.

To those saying “it’s complicated,” it’s not. It’s brutal, it’s unjust & it’s not something many of us have been well informed on or that you are likely to truly learn about if you choose not to opt in. It is the ongoing systemic dispossession, dehumanisation & destruction of a people.

I speak as someone who was poorly informed. I was not a critical thinker. I was not raised to look beyond the ‘gold standard’ journalism of the UK. If you’ve solely relied upon mainstream media to understand what’s happening, I urge you to follow . Her documentation is unfiltered, from the ground, in real time. It’s devastating & it’s necessary.

If you want to opt in & learn I recommend:

Read: anything & everything by Exeter University Professor & Israeli Historian Ilan Pappé, similarly by Columbia Professor Rashid Khalidi most are both on audible or traditional book formats.

Watch:
Isrealism & The Occupation of the American Mind (free versions on YouTube). The Present & Born in Gaza on Netflix. I’m sure there are many more.

Listen to:
.albanese.unsr.opt .on.palestine there are so many more

Holiday reading?
Try Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa or Lemon Tree by Sandy Tolan

This is NOT antisemitism. This is criticism of the abhorrent actions of the Israeli state & military supported by global inaction. Listen to voices of or Miriam Margolyes via who speak to this.

I say all this as someone who cherishes deeply the Jewish, Muslim - & specifically Palestinian, people I have in my life.

To those who feel my work as a doula has no place for politics. This is about humanity, empathy, compassion & integrity. The core values of my work & beliefs.

Bang the pots. Raise your voice🇵🇸
