Toxins at Home: What You Don’t Know Can Hurt Them!

Meet Cruz — the handsome pup in the last photo — who recently snuck a few grapes (yikes!). Thankfully, his quick-thinking mommy brought him straight to us, and we were able to safely make him vomit the grapes before they could cause serious harm.

Grapes, onions, chocolate, caffeine, and even some houseplants can be highly toxic to pets — and often, it's the everyday stuff we don’t think twice about.

Time is everything. If your pet eats something suspicious, please don’t wait! We usually have a small window (ideally under 1–2 hours) to help them safely bring it up or flush it out before damage is done.

Cruz is now happy, healthy, and back to wagging — and we're so proud of his mommy for acting fast!

Share this to help spread the word. You might just save a life!

Someone rescued the cutest street kitten 🐱 and brought it to us for a check-up. It seemed perfectly healthy, but viruses can hide for up to 14 days. That’s why the first step was quarantine and monitoring. A few days later, symptoms appeared, but because we caught it early, treatment started right away. Early action = better chances of recovery! 🩺 Keep following for updates!
