Another successful pet relocation. 🐾✈️

Shiva and Phoenix were safely relocated to Germany — continuing their journey exactly where they belong, with their mum. 🇩🇪

Rescued and deeply loved, these two are a reminder that even during times of change, pets are not left behind. With the right planning, care, and support, they can be part of every new chapter.

From health checks to documentation, every step was carefully managed to ensure a smooth and safe journey.

Because no matter the circumstances, pets are family — and they deserve to stay that way. ❤️🐾

We’re proud to celebrate a special milestone for our team member, Alvert Alcopra 🐾👏

From being a dedicated veterinary nurse to now becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the UAE, this achievement reflects his hard work, commitment, and passion for animal care.

Moments like these not only make us proud as a team but also reinforce the level of care and expertise we bring to our patients every day.

She brought one life into the world on her own…
but the rest needed us.

When labour stopped and complications began,
there was no time to wait.

An emergency C-section.
A team ready.
And two more lives safely delivered🤍

Mom is safe.
Her babies are safe.
And that’s all that matters. 🐾

In the tiniest heartbeats…
in the softest beginnings…
and in the moments we help them heal —

we find our happiness. 🤍

What is a BOAS assessment — and why does your pet need it?

If you’re planning to fly with your pet, especially a flat-faced breed like a Shih Tzu, Pugs, Persian cats and many more, this check is essential.

A BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) assessment evaluates your pet’s breathing to ensure they are fit for air travel.

Many airlines, including Emirates, require this for safe relocation.

Good news — the deadline has now been extended till 15th April.

If you’re planning your pet’s travel, don’t leave this for the last minute. Book your assessment with BVH today. 🐾✈️

Planning to travel with a snub-nosed (brachycephalic) pet?

Airlines such as Emirates allow travel for these breeds only during specific months due to their sensitivity to heat and breathing challenges.

The current travel window (November to April) is closing soon, which means time-sensitive planning is essential.

Breeds affected include Bulldogs, Pugs, Persian cats, and other flat-faced pets (Swipe to see the full list).

If you’re considering travelling or relocating with your pet, early preparation can help avoid delays or restrictions.

Our team at British Veterinary Hospital can guide you through the process and help ensure safe and compliant travel arrangements. 🐾✈️
