My philosophy is simple—you have to build an athlete from the bottom up and from the inside out. And with proper preparation, you will build the confidence to perform at peak level. At Arega Sports Training, I work with athletes and Personal training clients on Functional Movement Assessment, Injury Rehabilitation, Corrective Exercising, Core Strengthening, and Increasing Flexibility, Speed, Footwork, Agility and Explosiveness. I work with teams and individuals throughout the season by creating customized workout programs geared toward their specific strengths and weaknesses, which are assessed during a pre-program functional screening. I take great pride in educating coaches and student-athletes on learning how to crawl before they can walk and explaining how it affects their performance on the court or field. If a player doesn’t do the stretching required to get the full range of motion, how will they generate enough power and force to reach a certain vertical height? The fact is that until you are able to recruit all of your muscle fibers, you are limited to the amount of power you can generate. I believe that Personal trainers and coaches play a key role in developing healthy, athletes . Part of that role is making sure their athlete or Personal training client is eating a nutritional Sports Performance diet and getting the necessary rest and recovery time.
