The 9th Emirates Biennial Physiotherapy Conference returns on 3–4 October 2026 in Dubai, UAE.

Hosted by the Emirates Physiotherapy Society (EPS), this biennial event continues its commitment to advancing professional development, collaboration, and knowledge exchange across the physiotherapy and rehabilitation community.

Under the theme “From the UAE to the World: Advancing Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation,” the conference will feature expert‑led scientific sessions, key specialty tracks, and abstract presentations—bringing together clinicians, researchers, educators, and industry leaders from the region and beyond.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى تلقّينا نبأ وفاة زميلتنا العزيزة، سوزان والر، العضو القيّم والنشط في جمعية الإمارات الطبية ؛ شعبة للعلاج الطبيعي.

لقد تركت سوزان بصمة لا تُنسى في مجتمع العلاج الطبيعي، سواء على المستوى المحلي أو الدولي. وستظل في ذاكرتنا لما عُرفت به من تفانٍ وشغف والتزام بتطوير مهنتنا.

وبالنيابة عن شعبة الإمارات للعلاج الطبيعي، نتقدم بأحرّ التعازي وصادق المواساة إلى عائلتها وأصدقائها وزملائها في هذا الوقت العصيب. قلوبنا ودعواتنا معهم.

رحمها الله وأسكنها فسيح جناته.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear colleague, Susan Waller, a valued and active member of the Emirates Medical Association; Physiotherapy Society.

Susan’s contributions to the physiotherapy community, both locally and internationally, have left a lasting impact. She will be remembered for her dedication, passion, and commitment to advancing our profession.

On behalf of the Emirates Physiotherapy Society, we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

May her soul rest in peace.
