We offer Echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring, and referrals for in-depth reviews with a renowned pediatric cardiology professor in the UK. Pediatric Respiratory Medicine: Expert care for asthma, chronic cough, pneumonia, and lung function testing. We provide spirometry, chest drain procedures, sleep studies, and treatment for conditions like eczema and constipation. Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services for both children and adults, including implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics (gum care), and cosmetic dentistry. Physiotherapy: Rehabilitation and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, available for both adults and children. Why is Cervical Cancer Screening Important?

- Cervical cancer is the 4th most common cancer in women globally. It is one of the most preventable types of cancer, and early detection makes a huge difference.

- Regular Pap smears can reduce cervical cancer incidence by 70–90% by detecting precancerous changes early.

- HPV testing, when combined with Pap smears or used alone, further enhances prevention efforts.

Who Should Get Screened?

- All women aged 25–64

Screening Methods:

- Pap Smear– Detects abnormal cell changes

- HPV Test – Identifies high-risk HPV strains

What to Expect:

- Your visit will begin with a consultation with our Family Medicine doctor

- This will be followed by a routine smear (Pap) test, with or without HPV testing. Your doctor will assess your cervical health and send a sample to the lab for further testing.

Once your results are ready, we’ll discuss the findings and any necessary next steps.

Most abnormal changes detected through screening do not develop into cancer and can be effectively treated if caught early.

Somerset Clinic is known by most of you for its superior paediatric services. It was started in 2012 as a children only clinic, as it blossomed the team moved to the much larger ground floor, state of the art multi-specialty medical centre in building 47 in Dubai Healthcare City and currently offers expertise in Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Dentistry and Physiotherapy.

The Paediatric services include premature baby care, newborn care and general paediatrics with particular expertise in Kawazaki disease in children. There is a sub-specialty interest in Pediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Endocrinology and Paedaitric Neuro-disability including expertise in autism ADHD and hospital consultant led care at the near by Mediclinic City Hospital and Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital.

Dental services include Implants, Cosmetics, Orthodontics, Zoom Whitening, General Dentistry.
