خبرة تمدد لما يزيد عن 35 سنة في علاج المفاصل أجرى فيها مايزيد عن 20,000 تبديل مفصل.
أنشأ مركز الطرابيشي لجراحة المفاصل سنة 2000 في دبي ويعد من أفضل المراكز على مستوى العالم.

He has practices advanced orthopaedics for the past 40 years having performed over 14000 joint replacement surgeries during this period on patients from all over the world.
He earlier trained in orthopaedics at McGill University in the United States and practiced there for over 10 years. When he returned to the UAE, knee replacement was a rare procedure. But he worked hard to establish a program for joint surgery in Dubai.
Dr. Tarabichi pioneered the first centre of excellence for joint replacement and advanced orthopaedics in the Middle East alongside launching a fellowship training program for joint replacement which helped improve the quality of joint surgery in the Middle East.
A consultant for Zimmer International and on the design team for a new generation of knee implants, Dr. Tarabichi holds six orthopaedics patents in the United States that cover various aspects of joint replacement surgery. Specialized in the characteristics of the Asian and the Arab knee and has published many papers in international medical journals on the differences between the European and Asian knee. In 2012, he had a scientific exhibit at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting at Los Angeles that addressed the special characteristics of the Asian as compared to the European knee.
He is Chief Editor of the Middle East editions of American and British Journals of Bone and Joint Surgery and is Chairman of International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) in the Middle East. He has also chaired many international orthopaedics meetings such the ISTA Society Meeting and the ICJR ME
As chairman of Tarabichi's Centre of Joint Surgery in Alzahra hospital Dubai, he is planning to fundamentally change the orthopaedics sector in the region.
Dr. Tarabichi is a member of various medical organisations and associations across the world. He is Fellow American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1990, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada since 1988, and Member of the GCC Orthopaedics Association and of the Emirates Orthopaedic Association.
