UAE Advances Sustainable Finance from Strategy to Action

At Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025, the UAE Sustainable Finance Working Group released its fourth statement, signalling a decisive shift from designing frameworks to implementing sustainable finance across the UAE’s financial system. This includes progress on corporate governance, ESG disclosures, a UAE‑specific sustainable finance taxonomy, and climate transition planning principles — all reinforcing alignment with national climate goals such as the UAE Green Agenda 2015–2030 and the Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative

الإمارات تعزز التمويل المستدام من الاستراتيجية إلى التنفيذ!

خلال أسبوع أبوظبي المالي 2025، أصدرت مجموعة العمل الإماراتية للتمويل المستدام بيانها الرابع، مؤكدةً خطوة حاسمة نحو تحويل الأطر والخطط إلى واقع ملموس داخل النظام المالي الإماراتي. يشمل هذا تعزيز حوكمة الشركات، وتحسين الإفصاحات البيئية والاجتماعية وحوكمة الشركات، وإطلاق تصنيف التمويل المستدام الإماراتي، بالإضافة إلى تطبيق مبادئ تخطيط التحول المناخي.

كل هذه الجهود تدعم الأهداف الوطنية للمناخ، مثل أجندة الإمارات الخضراء 2015–2030 ومبادرة صافي صفر بحلول 2050، لتضع الإمارات في موقع الريادة كدولة نموذجية في الاستدامة المالية والبيئية.
