Our TDCC Talks: AAC at Home- Supporting Your Child’s Voice

In celebration of AAC Awareness Month, our TDCC Talks session was led by our dedicated Speech and Language Therapist, Elaine, who shared her expertise on how families can nurture communication and confidence in children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Parents and caregivers discovered that AAC is more than a communication tool, it’s a bridge to connection, understanding, and empowerment. With the right strategies at home, children who face communication challenges can express their thoughts, emotions, and personalities more freely.
