This course, taught by certified Iyengar teacher Antoine David, will focus on seated asanas, twists and backbends and is designed deepen your understanding and practice of Iyengar Yoga.

✅Seated Postures; These postures enhance stability and calm the mind, creating a solid foundation for more advanced poses
✅Twisting Postures: These poses release tension in the back and shoulders and help you become more aware of the rotation in the torso, guiding you toward deeper flexibility and strength
✅Baby Backbends: These gentle backbends help build confidence and prepare the body for more intense backbending postures in the future.

Open to those with some Iyengar yoga experience, the goal of the course is to leave feeling stronger, more balanced, and more connected to the breath. It lays the groundwork for a continued Iyengar practice and a deeper understanding of both the physical and mental aspects of yoga.

Alia is a certified 200 Hour Yoga Teacher having received a multitude of trainings from internationally acclaimed teachers around the world.

The focus of her sādhana and teaching is a sequence that pays homage to various lineages, such as Aṣṭāṅga, Dharma, Kundalini and Ghoṣ.

Meet the Teacher: Dr Kamal Edrees

Kamal is a 500-ERYT certified yoga teacher from Yoga Alliance USA, and a 300-hr certified Viniyoga as Therapy teacher.

An expert in anatomy and biomechanics, he holds a diploma degree in Manual Osteopathy from Osteopathic College of Ontario and a diploma in Massage therapy from CIBTAC UK.

Kamal is the founder of the online training platform Integrated Therapy Work and has been teaching since 2013.

He teaches Viniyoga, a mindful breath-centred practice focused on tailored individualized teaching from the Krishnamacharya lineage and leads Yoga Teacher Trainings.
