Hey expectant moms! Fetal ultrasounds are incredibly important! Here are the key times you should go to ensure your little one develops healthily:

1. First Trimester (Weeks 6 – 12)
Weeks 6-8: Confirm pregnancy, fetal position, check for a heartbeat, and determine the estimated due date.
Weeks 11-14: Measure nuchal translucency to screen for Down syndrome risk and other birth defects.
2. Second Trimester (Weeks 18 – 22)
The "Golden Time" for 4D/5D ultrasound: Detailed morphology scan to check all organs (brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, spine, etc.) and detect most congenital defects. You might also find out the baby's gender (depending on conditions).
3. Third Trimester (Weeks 30 – 32)
Growth assessment: Check weight, size, amniotic fluid levels, and placental position.
Detect late-appearing defects: Such as hydrocephalus or intestinal obstruction.
Check fetal presentation and umbilical cord: To prepare well for delivery.
