✨The 10th Anniversary of Sinjab Academy ✨

This year marks the 10th anniversary of a dream that has lived in my heart since I was just 15 years old.

In 1985, I stepped into an ophthalmologist’s office to get my first pair of glasses, unaware that this moment would alter the course of my life forever. I was captivated by the instruments and machines—though simple by today’s standards, they sparked something profound inside me. From that day on, I knew that I was meant to be an ophthalmologist.

Throughout my years of study, professorship in Damascus University, and practice, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be a better way to learn, a better way to teach. I had always carried a sense of leadership within me, and I dreamed of finding ways to revolutionize education beyond the traditional methods we were accustomed to. That dream never faded.

In 2014, it began to take shape with the launch of the Sinjab Academy YouTube channel and the Sinjab Academy Telegram Group. What started as a passion project turned into something far greater than I had ever imagined. In 2020, the dream reached its pinnacle with the founding of Sinjab Academic Consultancy in the UAE and the launch of the Sinjab Academy Platform www.sinjabacademy.org

In these ten years, Sinjab Academy has touched the lives of thousands—ophthalmologists, optometrists, vision scientists, and allied professionals—all drawn together by a shared thirst for knowledge and innovation. With creative ideas, groundbreaking programs, diverse curricula, and the integration of AI, we have strived to push the boundaries of learning in this field.

I owe my deepest gratitude to the incredible speakers who have shared their time, knowledge, and passion so generously with us. Your contributions are priceless, and this journey would not have been possible without you.

Of course, I don’t need to thank my piece of heart and soul, my genius son, Alaa—Data Scientist and AI engineer—who has been instrumental in making all of this success possible.

No words can be enough to thank my wife and children, who donated their rights to my time for the thousands of hours I spent in the wonderful world of Sinjab Academy.
